Which Supplements Should I Take? What Actually Helps?
vitamins November 20th. 2018, 10:41pmI don’t sell or endorse any supplements, powders or foods, and that makes me a little different than some you may have heard talking about supplements. It is a law of human nature that an “expert” will tend to promote just exactly what will increase the size of his paycheck.
The recommendations I give you in this video come from the reading I’ve done into the research, and years of taking care of patients in my practice. I don’t make or sell any of these supplements.
I think there are a few supplements that most of us need to take, and many other supplements that most of us can do just fine without. If you take a supplement I didn’t mention, please ask me about it in the comments below.
Here are the supplements I talk about:
1. Vitamin D – http://amzn.to/2Dh58b1
2. Magnesium – http://amzn.to/2DgUelw
3. Probiotics – http://amzn.to/2C7IId4
4. Omega-3s – http://amzn.to/2DgjecO
5. CoEnzyme Q10 – http://amzn.to/2DU6LfR
6. Zinc – http://amzn.to/2lfwjvJ
7. B Complex – http://amzn.to/2C8MNxt
8. Vitamin K2 – https://amzn.to/2tImAlI

I did not hear any discussion about a multi-vitamin. Is there a recommendation? Thank you!

Just an FYI…I took K2 for heart calcification without realizing I had a genetic blood clotting issue called Factor Five Leiden. I ended up with a DVT and a PE. I don't know how rare this is, but I thought I would mention it. I took K2 in drop form. A hematologist ran a whole lot of blood tests looking for any other reasons I might develop a DVT or PE and couldn't find anything else. He decided Factor Five was an issue but it was the K2 that put me over the top. That was six years ago. I took Warfarin for six months, but haven't needed it since.

On top of that this whey protein is delicious and comes and multiple different flavors.
November 21st, 2018 at 9:45 am
They should promote, a protein called Big lift whey protein, each scoop has 25 thousand milligrams of protein and a huge source of BCAAs and amino acids, you could get a 10 lb bucket for as low as a little under $70.
November 21st, 2018 at 10:11 am
So basically I need BCAA Glutamine to gain more muscle?
November 21st, 2018 at 10:18 am
You guys are nice
November 21st, 2018 at 10:55 am
An extremely useful guide but my immediate thought was if you are a beginner you shouldn't be taking supplements. Your nutrition and training quality is more of a priority and taking supplements shouldn't even be considered until lifestyle is healthy.. However whey protein (basic but good quality one) is all you need. Next look at your vitamin and mineral deficiencies, omega / fatty acids required. Pre-workouts, creatine monohydrate and BCAAs also worth considering as you get more experience.

I'm taking serious mass because I am very hard gainer so do I take it 1st thing when I wake up or before bed? Btw 1 or 2 scoops?
November 21st, 2018 at 3:34 pm
One should choose a supplement based on their Goals. When I was a beginner, I first had Whey protein concentrate with BCAA and followed fat loss program. After than I continued with Whey Isolate with BCAA. Later for muscle building I had Nitrotech which has 3 grams Creatine .
For beginners,I would recommend Ultimate Nutrition Prostar. If you want to purchase any other protein, check for protein bioavailability.
